Dr. J Mack Slaughter

Dr. J Mack Slaughter is an emergency physician with a background in entertainment. He grew up performing with his family prior to touring the nation in a boy band, after which he worked in TV/film for four years before attending medical school. Once on the medical path, he was inspired to found the nonprofit, Music Meets Medicine, which donates instruments and free music lessons to kids being treated at children’s hospitals. So far, they have raised over $250,000 to benefit pediatric patients throughout North Texas.

Dr. J Mack is now a father of three and works as an emergency physician while simultaneously engaging the public on social media. Since he started his social media channels last year, he has gained over 500K followers and over 100 million views. He is excited to be a part of the MedFluencers team, where he can utilize his experience finding success across multiple radically different sectors.
